Energy efficiency
Our expertise with respect to efficient use of energy includes assessment of energy saving measures in industry, implementation of these measures, energy bench marking, monitoring of the effectiveness of energy saving agreements (convenants) between governments and industry and advice on energy cost management.

Conventional Sources of Energy
We advise the energy industry and industrial clients with respect to the planning, design and development of power generation plants and the development of the hydrogen technology. Our specific expertise includes planning applications, environmental impact assessment, logistics, technological skills, civil constructions and project management.

Renewable Energy
We have the expertise to assist you in the development of a variety of renewable energy sources, including wind, wave, tidal, biofuels, energy from waste, ground heat and cold storage and solar . Our expertise includes policy studies, feasibility studies, planning, stakeholder consultation, environmental studies, design, contracting, development and procurement.

Energy Storage
Energy storage is a powerful tool to address the energy security challenge and to use the energy in an efficient manner. Our expertise includes systems for the storage of electricity, gas (import terminals for Liquefied Natural Gas), oil and subsoil heat/cold storage. In house technological know-how of the energy conversion systems enables us to advise you on the optimum energy storage systems.

Electrical Power
Our expertise covers all aspects of electrical power installations design in industrial and civil engineering from conceptual design thru start-up assistance. Electrical Power specialists of Royal Haskoning are currently involved in a large variety of projects such as:
