The overall aim of Phase I is a comparison of Russian Federation and international Environmental requirements for one of the largest Oil & Gas Company to help achieve programming and cost efficiencies in the progression of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) activities (e.g. in obtaining the relevant approvals and permits).

The overall aim of Phase II is to review and to contrast RF and international environmental and safety standards and make a recommendation to the Client on the most appropriate standards for adoption. The standards were prepared in relation to environmental and safety aspects such as:

Protection of Water Resources and Management of Aqueous Discharges;

Solid Waste Management;
  •  
Land Management;

Biodiversity Protection;

Management of Noise and Vibration.
