Royal Haskoning was commissioned to identify the environmental legislation requirements applicable to the Company activities and evaluation of the Company compliance status with requirements in the field of environmental protection.
For implementation of this assignment detailed analysis of RF environmental and risk prevention legislation to be enforced by automotive factories at state, regional and local levels was executed by experts of Royal Haskoning.

The following tasks were implemented:

Development of the Environmental Legislation Requirements Register. The following issues were addressed: Russian legislative system, Administrative Permits and Authorizations; Impact Studies, Best Available Techniques; Health and Protection; Water consumption and wastewater discharge; Air emissions; Waste Management; Soil contamination; Chemicals; Safety; General organization and management;

Identification of the Company’s installations which are subject of the Environmental Legislation Requirements;

Assessment of the Company’s compliance status with the relevant Environmental Requirements. During the assessment process Royal Haskoning collected information on issues such as: air, water and wastewater, waste management, raw materials storage, special materials, soil and groundwater issues. The current operations were checked against the applicable requirements for each installation.
